I've got some few items to show you, none that I've made myself (being busy with the baby and the older kids!), but most related to sewing;
Ég er með nokkra hluti til að sýna ykkur, þó enga sem ég hef saumað sjálf (allt of upptekin með litla krílið og hin tvö börnin!), en þó flestir tengdir saumaskap;
1. Few fabrics (and ric racs) I bought two weeks ago, I'm on the romantic site these days :)
1. Nokkur efni (og lissubönd) sem ég keypti fyrir um tveim vikum, bæði í Virku og hjá Olgu en hún var að opna búð í Hafnarfirðinum... ein alveg á rómantísku línunni núna :)
2. We went to a summer house last weekend in east Iceland. We had such a nice time and I had a change to visit few shops in Selfoss, a town near by the summer house. One of the shop was a nice surprise to me, a realy interesting and fun shop, selling danish baby clothing like the Småfolk brand and all kinds of kitchen items and other fun stuff. I bought two shirts for my little bee, some cute pencils, three jam spoons and some clever chopsticks for kids
2. Við fórum í sumarbústað síðustu helgi fyrir austan. Auðvitað fór ég í Bót.is og Bútabæ en það sem stóð upp úr var verslunin Snúðar og snældur sem kom ótrúlega skemmtilega á óvart. Þar eru seld dönsk barnaföt, t.d. frá Småfolk, æðislegir hlutir í eldhúsið og alls konar skemmtilegt dót. Ég keypti tvær samfellur handa litla ljósinu, skemmtilegt blýantabox, þrjár sultuskeiðar og sniðuga kínaprjóna handa krökkum.
3. Last week I paid a new shop in Iceland, ILVA (Danish furniture store, much like the IKEA concept) a visit. I bought this fabric coverd box and some tea towels I intend to cut down and sew back together to make some cool stuff :)
3. Ég kíkti líka í ILVA í síðustu viku, nýju dönsku keðjuna á Korputorgi (váááá, hvað það er stórt!), keypti sætt box, klætt með efni og viskustykki sem ég ætla að skera niður í tætlur og sauma svo aftur saman svo það verði að svölu stykki :)
4. My birthday is October 31st and Helga, a great quilting friend and a work colleague, bought my these cool items for birthday present. I love the "We can do it" poster, but yet cooler is the "We can quilt it" panel!! I'm going to make a bag out of it. Helga knows how much I like Amy Butler's designs and she found this tooo cooool box from Amy with 15 great projects. I have another box from the same publisher with cute softies, I love it! And of course I got this cute Halloween card and a Halloween PEZ dispenser (since I was born on Halloween!) - and let's not forget the softest socks ever! - Thank you so much Helga ;)
4. Afmælið mitt er á næsta leyti og á föstudaginn síðasta mætti Helga vinkona með svona líka æðislega afmælisgjöf handa mér (ligga-ligga-lá!). Ég elska "We can do it" plaggatið en hvað er flottara en "We can quilt it" panellinn (okey, ég veit að það eru nokkrir sem skoða bloggið mitt og eru ekki í bútasaumnum... og eru örugglega ekki sammála þessu hehehe). Helga veit líka hvað ég held mikið upp á Amy Butler og hún gaf mér geggjað box með 15 littlum verkefnum eftir ædolið (ég á einmitt annað box frá sama útgefanda, ótrúlega flott). Og svo fékk ég auðvitað þetta sæta hrekkjavöku kort og hrekkjavöku pez kall (þar sem ég er hrekkjavökukrakki) og ekki má gleyma mýkstu sokkum í heimi! - takk fyrir mig Helga ;)
